The Nature Conservancy commissioned photographs for a feature story about their vast network of volunteers throughout the global organization. I traveled to Oregon, New Hampshire, Chicago and Nebraska to photograph a variety of volunteer opportunities offered by The Nature Conservancy — from seed collection on the prairie, to caring for the nests of purple martin bird colonies in urban areas, to trail ambassadors on the coast and oyster nannies along the Great Bay. My objective was to create vivid and colorful imagery to celebrate the community of volunteers that make these programs great. I worked closely with editor Rolaine Ossman on this story for their Summer 2018 magazine issue.
